日本旅記- 大板

OK, the Japan travelling post will be in English for now, I found it very difficult to write travel journal in chinese!! geez....
From Day5_6_Osaka: Going to Osaka from Tokyo via Shinkansen
On day 5 we left Tokyo and headed for another popular city of Japan, Osaka.  We made use of our Japan Rail Pass this time to travel via the Shinkansen.  The train station is very well organise and I just love it when people are polite and you don't have to push your way through to get onto the train (like they all queue up so nicely, unlike....China....-_-)

From Day5_6_Osaka: Japanese fast food, tempura, sushi and rice balls
After a comfortable ride in the Shinkansen (with my mum almost left her bagpack on the top luggage compartment!), we reached Osaka in the evening.  Hungry (Again!), we headed for fast food. The place we went to is like Maxims and other fast-food chain stores in HK, except that they serves udon and rice-balls instead. Very healthy.

From Day5_6_Osaka: Japanese fast food, udon

From Day5_6_Osaka: Waiting in front of the Osaka Kaiyukan (Ocean Museum)
The next morning, which is a public holiday, don't know what went wrong with my mind but I've decided to go to the aquarium!! My thought was that the city-area would be very badly crowded in a public holiday so an aquarium may be a better place to be.  The queue proves me wrong, everywhere is packed on a holiday!!! We queued for approx 45 mins before getting into the front door. So a little advice, be prepared and be patient with everything in a public holiday.

From Day5_6_Osaka: Curious kiddo checking out what's in the aquarium
I love the underwater world and I think it was worth the wait.  Apart from the marine life you see in the aquarium, I love to see the little curious kids in my surroundings too :)  They are all so fansinated and focused seeing these little life, good on you!!!

From Day5_6_Osaka: Emperor penguins @ Kaiyukan
Have you all seen the March of the Penguins? Emperor penguins are so pretty!!!

From Day5_6_Osaka: Fugu fish @ Kaiyukan
These fishes are called "fugu" in japanese, puffer fish.  Deadly poison and the japanese eat it as a sign of bravery (although I've heard from my japanese friend that they don't taste that special...like chicken?!)

From Day5_6_Osaka: Jellyfish @ Kaiyukan
Beautiful jelly fishes

From Day5_6_Osaka: Bargain shop selling japanese fabrics and yukada
A bargain shop selling japanese style fabrics and yukada.
From Day5_6_Osaka: Place for japanese-euro fusion curry
We went for lunch in this curry place. The curry is average (hmm....it bugs me when food got MSG in it...I am kinda sensitive to it, that includes oyster sauce....-_- but that's just me...).  But what I really really like about the restaurant is the decoration and the service of the people.  The interior is small, but very cosy, coz you were surrounded by books, photo albums, and interesting little toys!  The music is very relaxing and there's a slight smell of tea.  I wouldn't mind living in there!!  I think the owner of this restaurant (a couple in their 50s) travels a lot, from what I have seen in their photo albums, and most of their travelling in Europe was on a bike.  It is sooo romantic!!  I love the photos coz they use a teddy bear as a photo-shoot model hahaha...I am tempted to get a travel plushie too now XD XD  The lovely couple is very humble and friendly, aaww....I am so fond of them!

From Day5_6_Osaka: My lunch, curry with eggplant and chicken

From Day5_6_Osaka: Nice decor inside the restaurant

From Day5_6_Osaka: Homemade mango sobert from the jap curry restaurant
It was a small place and people are started to fill in the restaurant.  My mum and her friends left the restaurant straight after their meal, but I've decided to stay for a little longer by myself and enjoy their homemade mango sobert.

From Day5_6_Osaka: Japanese soft cake
I walked back to the meet my mum and on the way I saw this little cart that sells snacks. ho ho ho....time for another quick bite!!! It's so funny the guy keep on saying "you, kawaii~~" to me and have their thumbs up hahaha.  Sorry I am only getting one of your cakes and no more :P:P
