TED: Graham Hill: Why I'm a weekday vegetarian

I'm recently addicted to these TED talks.
Very inspiring and informative.
I am not yet a "weekday veg" yet, I used to be a huge meat eater (esp. in Australia when the meat is so cheap!)
But Martin and I have started eating vege only for lunch a couple of months ago (b4 I saw this talk),
both for our health, and the environment.
It is not as difficult as we thought it would be!!!

Try it out, if you can!!!
Veg is good!

  1. Hi Maria,

    I watched this TED talked.
Did you start "lunch vegi" with Martin?
I remember when I was in Syndey, you talked you liked vegi and your mum usually were eating vegi basically.
My friend started 2 years ago and she said her body condition changed dramatically!!
And she said "Yuki, try to eat vegi, your body condition should be change better!!!"

I tried to eat vegi more more (not complete vegitarian), but at last gave up.
Because vegi is more expensive than meat.

But as you tried to change to eat vegi more,
so I will try to be " Pseudo vegitarian"..
Yeah, I will try from today for my health.

BTW, who is TED? What is Graham Hill and this video company?

    Very intersting!!

    Thank you for good informations!!!!

    From Pseudo vegitarian... Yuki

  2. Dear Yuki!
Thank you so much for visiting! Yes I love the vege my mum cooks, it is very healthy!
And yes, martin and I started to eat vege for lunch a couple of months ago, I think lunch eating vegetarian food feels good! So now our breakfast and lunch is vegetarian. There are many choices and I like tofu the most :D (many different ways to cook tofu, bean curd etc). In Singapore the veges are cheaper, and more choices than Australia, and uni has vegetarian stores so I am happy!
We are also just psuedo-vegetarian haah, I still crave for meat and have them for dinner. But eating vege 2 meals a day also make me appreciate and treasure meat more! So I think little amount is good! Add oil Yuki!!! ^___^

I think TED is an organisation that devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. Martin introduce it to me. They host many great talks!
